Bolton Gate offer a complete range of Security Rated options from SR1 through to SR5 rating. The latest addition to our portfolio, are the SecRoll Security Roller Shutters offering A1, B3 & C5 security classifications equivalent to SR1, SR2 & SR3 respectively.
Providing a choice of ratings, these bespoke high security rolling shutters manufactured here in the UK are designed to provide flexibility for our Clients with a wide range of opening sizes and specification options including thermal and acoustic capabilities.
We are proud to confirm that our security shutters are registered in the BRE Global ‘Red Book Live’ confirming our products have been rigorously tested, assessed and approved by LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) and that also the same high standard and quality production is maintained through the process of regular audits.
The SecRoll is used in many varied applications where authentic security rated products are an important design consideration such as retail outlets, art galleries, studios, infrastructure and utility sites alongside government defence projects.
Internally face fixed to brick, block, concrete or steel.
The shutter curtain is constructed using continuously interlocked 100mm deep galvanised steel foam bonded laths complete with reinforced steel endlocks.
A fabricated galvanised steel bottom rail is provided complete with rubber weather seal.
Vertical side guides are formed from rolled galvanised steel in a double rebate profile and fitted with twin brush strips. A full height mounting channel complete with protector shroud is provided for fixing to the structure at a minimum 50mm setback.
C5 (SR3)
A pair of side guide mounted pin locks are provided. Over 3500mm clear width, a centrally mounted ground lock (complete with padlock) is also provided (2no if >7000mm).
B3 (SR2)
A pair of side guide mounted pin locks are provided. Over 3500mm clear width, a centrally mounted ground lock (complete with padlock) is also provided (2no if >7000mm).
C1 (SR1)
A pair of side guide mounted pin locks are provided.
The roller is constructed from seamless steel tube of adequate diameter to resist deflection and held in bearings attached to the endplates.
Formed using prime painted mild steel of thickness to suit the respective opening size.
A galvanised steel coil casing and motor casing are provided as standard to close off the operating mechanism and complete the aesthetic appearance of the door. On the tubular motor system, the coil casing is a more compact chamfered design.
Galvanised steel is the default finish but please refer to Options below for alternatives.
